The game is played on a 10×10 grid, with one side of the grid with the AFC champion (Kansas City Chiefs) and the other side with the NFC champion (Philadelphia Eagles). Each participant buys a square for a fixed price that can be determined by the player (for example, $5 per square). You can buy as many squares as you want.

Once all the squares have been sold or there are no more participants, each player takes turns drawing a number from 0 to 9 and assigns them to the top and side of the grid. Players can see which numbers their grid is assigned to and then the game can begin with the kickoff.
