Supreme is expanding its presence in Asia with the announcement of a new flagship store in Shanghai, China. This expansion comes shortly after the successful launch of its Seoul flagship store. This will be Supreme’s first store in China.
The news was shared on Supreme’s Instagram page through a captivating video showing the iconic Supreme logo appearing against the backdrop of Shanghai’s bustling skyline.
While this marks Supreme’s first flagship store in China, the brand has had a foothold in the country through its shop-in-shop at Dover Street Market in Beijing. This move into the Chinese market began in 2022, following the acquisition of a Chinese trademark in 2020.
The Instagram post teased the upcoming opening with the caption “Shanghai 2024,” hinting at the arrival of this new chapter in the brand’s journey. It also announced the opening of Supreme Shanghai and the Supreme WeChat Mini Program on March 23rd at 10 am.
