Tavia Hunt’s Power Play: The woman behind the Kansas City Chiefs’ off-field impact

The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t just about winning championships-they’re about building a legacy of impact, and leading that charge off the field is none other than Tavia Hunt. As the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and the driving force behind the Chiefs Women’s Organization (CWO), Tavia is making sure the team’s influence goes beyond touchdowns and trophies.

Recently, Tavia and Clark served as honorary chairs for the Kansas City Police Foundation Gala, a major event dedicated to supporting local law enforcement. The night was a star-studded affair, with comedian and die-hard Chiefs fan Rob Riggle hyping up the crowd and NFL Chief Security Officer Cathy Lanier delivering a powerful keynote.

After the event, Tavia took to Instagram to express her gratitude, saying, “We are proud to support the KCPD and deeply grateful for their dedication to keeping our community safe.”

But this isn’t just a one-night affair for Tavia Hunt-giving back is her way of life. As the director of the CWO, she works alongside the wives and girlfriends of Chiefs players, rolling up her sleeves to support everything from feeding families to building homes.

Tavia is creating the Chiefs’ legacy off the field

Tavia’s not just writing checks-she’s on the ground, making real connections and ensuring the Chiefs’ legacy is about more than just football.

For Tavia, Kansas City has always been home. Long before she became the First Lady of the Chiefs, she started as a PR intern for the team in 1991 while still in college. Now, decades later, she and Clark remain dedicated to uplifting the community that has supported the franchise for generations.

“It’s important for Clark and me to invest and give back to this community,” she once said, and she continues to prove that being part of the Chiefs family means more than just game-day hype-it’s about showing up for Kansas City every single day.
