Taylor Swift‘s first outfit of the 2024/25 NFL season was ripped into by critics who slammed her $60,000 get-up to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens, calling it her “worst look yet”.
The popstar has been a regular at the Arrowhead Stadium since she began dating Travis Kelce in the summer of 2023 and made her first appearance of the season on Thursday, September 5 on opening night.

Whilst the Chiefs, whom her boyfriend plays for, won 27-20 against Lamar Jackson’s Ravens it turned out the headlines were grabbed by the Eras Tour singer for what she chose to wear with Reddit fans, who slammed her innovative ideas.
One wrote, “I hate it, it’s my least favorite fit she’s worn. I attacked it on IG and now I’m getting attacked. It’s giving redneck trying to be sexy. I don’t like the lack of Chiefs merch either.”
A second additionally said, “The hair doesn’t work with the outfit; the boots look super odd with denim and she doesn’t have the range for them; the denim is mismatched. Hot mess express.”
And a third declared, “I would absolutely cheer for the outfit if she wore it out to club or party. It’s not perfect, but her stylist sucks at his job so the bar is in hell.”
Swift had headed to the NFL game wearing maroon thigh-high leather boots worth $1650 and a $1750 Versace blue denim corset and matching shorts, along with various accessories to show off her wealth.
The Grammy-winning artist and 2023 TIME Person of the Year also added a black Louis Vuitton bag ($3950), $850 diamond huggies and a $590 charm, along with a $13,200 dollar bracelet and $29,100 puzzle ring with an amethyst-looking gem in the middle.
When does the Eras Tour return?
After initial stints in the United States before she went on to tour Asia and Europe, Swift is finally resting her vocal chords and putting her feet up to relax following the conclusion of the second phase of her tour at Wembley Stadium in London in August.
She will return at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida from October 18-20 before touring various stadiums in the USA, finally concluding the Eras Tour for good in Vancouver on December 8.
