Tether Operations Limited, a leading company in the digital asset industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Rezo Money, a digital payment platform, to advance blockchain education in Guinea. This collaboration aims to foster digital literacy and financial inclusion in emerging markets, according to tether.io.
Educational Workshops in Conakry
As part of this initiative, Rezo Money will conduct interactive workshops at three major universities in Conakry, the capital city of Guinea. These workshops will cover essential topics such as blockchain fundamentals and cryptocurrency payment methods. The objective is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, enabling them to apply these skills in both personal and professional contexts.
Participants will be introduced to the Rezo platform, where they will engage in practical exercises and interactive sessions. This hands-on approach aims to ensure that students acquire the necessary knowledge to utilize blockchain technology and stablecoin payments through real-life use cases.
Empowering Emerging Markets
Blockchain education is crucial for promoting economic growth and freedom in emerging markets. This technology offers numerous benefits, including alternative banking solutions for the unbanked, streamlined remittance processing, and protection against inflation. By understanding blockchain, individuals can make informed financial decisions, enhance their economic stability, and contribute to community development.
Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Rezo to bring blockchain education to Guinea. This initiative is a critical step in empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to participate actively in the digital economy, a cause we are deeply committed to. By providing practical insights and real-life use cases, we aim to bridge the knowledge gap and promote financial inclusion in the region.”
