A makeup page by the name of ‘Paintdatface’ felt the wrath of Black Twitter after posting a picture of a white client that he transformed right into a Black woman within the name of “cultural appreciation.”

Turning the blonde hair, blue eyed, and pale skinned model right into a turban-wearing, brown eyed, olive skinned Black woman, the MUA said he was coming from a “sincere place” when doing the makeover.

He even anticipated his working being taken out of context, as he posted the image of the before and after with a lengthy disclaimer that went into detail about his vision for the look and the way it by some means wasn’t a few race change.

“This can be a transformation that I’ve been holding back from releasing for some time now, solely due to the fear I’ve had of individuals turning it right into a racial scandal against me,” he wrote.

Although they’ve since deleted the post, Twitter users still managed to grab screenshots and express their disappointment in one more tone deaf beauty transformation.
