Tom Brady reveals his Super Bowl broadcast plans with FOX amid rumors of resignation from million-dollar contract

The legendary Tom Brady confirms he will cover Super Bowl LIX for FOX Sports and rubbishes rumors the 47-year-old is set to quit the network ahead of the biggest game of the entire NFL season.

The seven-time champion of the sport is contracted to the company on a $37.5m-per-year deal over a decade and has attracted fans far and wide to listen to his analysis, and his comments on developing quarterbacks.

Antonio Brown’s shirtless exit from Buccaneers was the end of his career

Now he confirms he will be at Super Bowl 59 on February 9 alongside Kevin Burkhardt as he looks to cap off a bit of a rocky start to life as a pundit, of which he has earned mix reviews from listeners and watchers.

Brady also announced fans of all 30 NFL teams can enjoy the final game of the season in their local cities and stadiums through the Verizon Fan Fest, in what he assures will be the biggest streaming of the Super Bowl ever.

The event will include music, food and meet-and-greets with some of the pro players, as well as watching the game on the big screen. Tickets are on sale on a first-come-first-served basis via the Verizon Fan Fest website.

Brady praises Chiefs’ mentality

Brady, who won six rings with the New England Patriots, may tip the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes to be the favorites to win the Super Bowl thanks to their clutch mentality in tight games.

If the Chiefs manage to claim the prize, Mahomes will have accomplished something Brady was never able to do by winning three consecutive Super Bowls. The Chiefs will become the only franchise to have ever done so.

“Once again, the top spot in my power ranking again goes to the Kansas City Chiefs,” Brady told Verizon ahead of Week 16 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. “It seems like every week they have different guys step up.

“On defense, this week, Rookie Xavier Worthy, Lie Hopkins, they just got Marquise Brown back. Watch out NFL.”
