Tom Brady‘s recent comments about how his divorce affected him have done little to shift the public story, as Gisele Bundchen continues to appear settled, confident, and content in her new life with husband Joaquim Valente and their growing family.
Only days after Brady spoke openly about personal struggles from his final NFL season, Bundchen was seen enjoying a quiet afternoon on a boat in Miami, reinforcing the sense that she has fully moved into a new chapter.
The Brazilian supermodel looked relaxed and comfortable, wearing a green patterned outfit while caring for her young son, who will soon turn one, as Valente enjoyed the warm Florida weather nearby.
Her calm and happy appearance stood in clear contrast to Brady’s recent remarks, which focused on emotional strain and the pressure he felt during his last year in professional football.
“My last season was tough,” Brady admitted. “I was going through a lot of just a personal family issue, and it was a challenge… It just took a lot out of me in terms of my ability to continue to play.
“I had 23 years of it, so I didn’t feel like I was missing anything retiring,’ he continued. ‘I was 45 years old. I wanted to spend time with my kids.
“I felt like, “‘Okay, now it’s time for me to be at all my kids’ games.”

While Brady has spoken openly about the emotional toll of his final season, Bundchen has focused on rebuilding her life, finding balance, and creating stability away from constant public attention.
After the NFL star reversed his original retirement decision in 2022, reports suggested tensions grew, eventually leading his wife to file for divorce that October, ending their 13-year marriage.
However, Bundchen has opened up on her divorce by describing it as “the death of my dream”, and insisting it has little to do with the fact that Brady remained in the NFL for one more year.
“It’s tough,” Bundchen told Vanity Fair. “Because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?
“What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle. It’s not so black and white. I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever.
“If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want all his dreams to come true.”
In the years since, Bundchen has remarried, welcomed another child, and built a stable family life with Valente, while maintaining a respectful co-parenting relationship.
Brady, meanwhile, has remained publicly single but has been linked to other models such as Irina Shayk and most recently Alix Earle. He continues to work for FOX Sports and the Las Vegas Raiders.
