Seattle Seahawks‘ offensive staff is facing an uncertain few days, with developments around the Las Vegas Raiders threatening to undo a season of progress.
Once Super Bowl LX concludes, the expectation across the league is that offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will finalise a move to Las Vegas, leaving the Seahawks with a major vacancy at a critical moment.
According to Jeremy Fowler, Seahawks quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko has emerged as a serious candidate to join the Raiders and work under Kubiak.

If that scenario plays out, head coach Mike Macdonald would be tasked with replacing two of the most influential voices on his offensive staff in the same offseason.
Kubiak and Janocko have built a long-standing professional relationship, moving together through several organisations. Their shared stops in Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks have created a deep familiarity that now appears central to the Raiders‘ planning.
Why Janocko fits the Raiders’ vision
Janocko‘s name has been linked to Las Vegas even before Fowler‘s report. Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review Journal previously pointed to him as a logical extension of Kubiak‘s staff if the Raiders followed through on their pursuit.
“This feels like an obvious choice,” Hill wrote. “Janocko came over from the New Orleans Saints with Kubiak to serve as Seattle‘s quarterbacks coach and did a fine job with Sam Darnold this season.”
For Janocko, the opportunity would also represent a chance at continuity after several turbulent years. His time with the Chicago Bears ended amid a complete offensive overhaul in 2023, and his stint with the New Orleans Saints was followed by another reset after last season.
Seattle offered a rare stretch of stability, something he acknowledged while the future remained unresolved.
“I made a promise to myself and my wife that we’re really just going to enjoy this week,” Janocko said. “The last couple of years have been trying at times, so getting to be part of this success, we really want to enjoy that. Whatever happens after that, that’s fine.”
