It’s all coming up Colorado Buffaloes at the moment. Following an epic overtime win over Baylor, Deion Sanders‘ team is now 3-1 and building momentum as they enter a tough portion of the schedule. Thanks to elite play from Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, the team’s two biggest stars, Colorado can dream big for now.
Deion’s otherworldly popularity makes Colorado have all eyes on them at all times. While that means the team will be met with criticism and negativity when they lose, it also means they get special perks and recognition from other high-profile athletes. That includes LeBron James, who sent a special pair of his signature shoes to the head coach.
The only problem is that Hunter took the liberty to steal them, although he was kind enough to ask Sanders first before taking them home.
Ohh, LeBron. Size 12. Appreciate you. GOAT, appreciate you. I know you sent these to Coach Prime, but he ain’t never heard of me though. I like to take shoes.
Deion Sanders gave the shoes to Travis Hunter in the end
Hunter then asks Sanders if he can have them, pleading to Coach Prime that he isn’t going to wear them anyway. Sanders then concedes, giving up the shoes to Hunter. An ecstatic Hunter exclaims, “that’s how you ask“.
It’s another show of undeniable chemistry between Sanders and Hunter. The two always appear on the same wavelength, with many frequently saying that the coach treats Hunter as if he’s one of his sons.
Colorado’s next game comes on Saturday, as they travel to Orlando to take on UCF on the road. They then host #23 Kansas State in a huge Big 12 showdown.
