Travis Kelce ‘discovered’ in Taylor Swift video he didn’t want to be in: I knew he was recording

Taylor Swift fans are buzzing with speculation after a small detail in her iHeartRadio Awards acceptance video set social media ablaze. The pop superstar, who accepted the Tour of the Century award virtually in a pre-recorded clip, had fans convinced that her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was the one behind the camera.

Eagle-eyed Swifties analyzed the reflection in the trophy she was holding and quickly came to a collective conclusion-Kelce was the one filming. The theory instantly went viral, with Swift’s loyal fanbase dissecting every clue, from the video’s angle to the singer’s outfit.

Fans analyze the reflection in Swift’s award

A TikTok user uploaded a slowed-down version of the clip, zooming in on the shiny surface of the trophy. The reflection revealed the faint outline of a person, leading to widespread speculation that it was Kelce capturing the moment for his girlfriend.

“I KNEW HE WAS RECORDING,” one fan wrote excitedly.

Another questioned: “Is the reflection of Travis in the room with us?”

A third added: “It could be anyone, but let’s be serious-who else would it be?”

Did Swift skip the awards due to past controversy?

While Swift‘s decision to accept the award virtually may have been due to her busy schedule, some fans speculated there was another reason for her absence. Comedian Nikki Glaser, who presented the Tour of the Century award at the ceremony, has a complicated history with Swift.

Back in 2015, Glaser made body-shaming comments about Swift in an interview-remarks that resurfaced years later when the singer revealed she had struggled with an eating disorder. Some fans questioned whether Swift chose to avoid the event to sidestep an awkward encounter.

Regardless of the speculation, Swift’s speech was heartfelt and reflective, celebrating the incredible journey of her Eras Tour, which began exactly two years earlier.

“I really can’t tell you how much this means to me,” she said. “This-on behalf of my tour mates, all my fellow performers, my band, everyone who toured with us, our crew-is actually the two-year anniversary of the first show of the Eras Tour.

“People often say that sometimes the greatest challenges in life end up being something you’re so proud of or end up being the most gratifying feeling in the end, if you can rise to the occasion.

“You had the passion and generosity to care about traveling to see us on tour in all these places all over the world. It blows my mind. I’m never going to stop being grateful for it. And I appreciate this more than you know.”
