Travis Kelce is not taking any second chances regarding Taylor Swift‘s safety after the home of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ tight end was robbed as he installs a brand new home security system to protect her.
Bandits looted the Leawood property on October 6 whilst he was on the field against the New Orleans Saints, before they targeted Patrick Mahomes a day later as the FBI opens an investigation into the criminal network.
Over $20,000 in cash was taken as well as the 35-year-old’s first Super Bowl-winning jersey but he was more concerned about the safety of his popstar girlfriend as he immediately moved them into a hotel for the night.
He has now spent over six million dollars of his fortune on ensuring that if he’s ever targeted again, he and his beau will have bulletproof protection by investing in a safety room for them to flee to.

“As the holidays approach, Travis has gone all out to make sure that the security system and security personnel at his home are invincible,” a source told The Daily Mail. “The best gift he could get both of them is safety and assurance that they will always have a good night’s sleep.
“Aside from a team of skilled security protecting the perimeter and surrounding grounds of his home 24/7, he has also installed a safety room in his renovations, which also include a man cave underground.
“He has installed a state-of-the-art security system with every single possible entry, including all windows, secured.”
Kelce already using the man cave
In a bid to uplift Kelce‘s spirits ahead of Christmas Day, his Chiefs co-stars tried to make him whole following the burglary with a surprise box full of highly valuable gifts including jerseys from Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
And it seemed to work a treat, leaving him delighted before he repaid his colleagues with his third touchdown of the season, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, live on Netflix on Wednesday, December 25.
“He opened the box and felt like a kid at Christmas,” an insider told The U.S. Sun. “They are going straight to his man cave, where he loves to hang out. Those pieces are going to be so special for him.”
