Travis Kelce‘s father, Ed Kelce, took part in the magic of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on Saturday, attending her final Toronto performance at the Rogers Centre. His appearance highlighted the growing bond between Swift and the Kelce family since her relationship with the NFL star became public.
Ed, dressed sharply in a gray button-up and jacket, mingled with Swifties in the crowd, even participating in the popular tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets.
This fan-driven ritual, inspired by lyrics in Swift’s “You’re On Your Own Kid,” is a hallmark of the Eras Tour experience. Though he didn’t exude the same visible excitement as Taylor’s mother, Andrea Swift-his concert companion for the evening-his presence was a testament to his support.
The night was a historic one for Swift. Wrapping up her six-show run in Toronto, she thanked the crowd for making her tour the first to sell out six nights at the venue.
As her record-breaking tour nears its conclusion with just three shows left in Vancouver, the pop sensation’s impact continues to grow.
While Travis Kelce was not spotted at the event, Ed’s involvement adds another layer to the Swift-Kelce connection.
Praised his son’s partner
The two have been seen chatting at events, including a Kansas City Chiefs game earlier this season. Ed has openly praised Swift’s down-to-earth nature, sharing how much he appreciates her involvement in family events, despite her immense fame.
“Every game there’s people crowding outside the front of that suite trying to get a glimpse of Taylor, wanting to meet Taylor,” he said in February.
“Taylor’s very gracious, but she can’t do everything.”
“And she’s got security guys who don’t want her doing anything. That’s their job and she’s smart enough to know, ‘I’m paying these guys to keep me safe. I should probably listen to them’.
“But if it was up to her she’d be out there with everyone who wants her.”
