“We’re going to need you”: Myles Garrett avoids hitting Shedeur Sanders, says Browns will count on him

Shedeur Sanders shut many mouths after his NFL debut, where he finished the game with 157 total yards and two touchdowns. The rookie QB led the Cleveland Browns to a 30-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Sanders’ debut shocked many, but it seems it wasn’t a surprise for one of the Browns’ locker room leaders, Myles Garrett.

During the Browns’ and Panthers’ first preseason game, a conversation on the sidelines between Garrett and Sanders was caught on camera.

After Shedeur’s flashy plays, the rookie QB asked Garrett, “Hey Myles, you think my spin sh*t would work on you?”

Garrett, laughing, replied, “Nope. It worked today, though, but it wouldn’t work on me.”

“I ain’t gonna lie, I want to feel one of your swipes, though. Like one of those aggressive grabs. I just want to see if I can get out of it,” Sanders said.

“You’re a kid. I don’t want to have to hurt you, bro. We’re going to need you,” Garrett concluded.
