With ‘Euphoria’, Inter Miami takes over Wynwood space at start of MLS season

On February 12, Inter Miami CF‘s long-awaited new kit was finally unveiled to all the fans, and to do so, the team decided to ‘take over’ the exclusive Wynwood neighborhood to capture its identity in every corner at the ‘Euforia Begins’ event.

The event was an exciting night-time celebration to kick off the new season for the Herons in Major League Soccer, which kicks off on February 22 at Chase Stadium against NYCFC, led by World Cup winner Lionel Messi and his faithful lieutenants Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez, who will be looking to make a difference from the first second.

And they will surely do so spurred on by the brand new kit they unveiled at the event in partnership with their sponsor Royal Caribbean at Wynwood Marketplace, nestled in the well-known area that went from being an industrial district to becoming one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

To reinforce the message of the new kit manufactured by adidas, the new identity and renewed aspirations to win everything in the MLS, the team sponsored a striking intervention with the incorporation of the iconic Wynwood murals, courtesy of renowned graffiti artist and muralist JEKS, who painted Inter Miami players wearing the Euphoria kit.

During the event, Fafa Picault and Benjamin Cremaschi were available for photos and autographs, giving fans an unforgettable experience.

Picault and Cremaschi proud and ‘euphoric’

Inter Miami’s website collected the testimonies of both players, natives of the area and proud citizens of Miami: “It’s amazing to be here. I was born and raised in Miami… To see my face on a mural in such an important place in Miami is a dream… It’s a great shirt, the pink represents Miami very well,” said Cremaschi.

Picault said: “I think it’s incredible. Having grown up in the south of Miami, you’ve seen the transitions that Wynwood has gone through. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, so to see my face on a mural is incredible and it’s an emotional feeling“.
