The Boston Celtics with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were close to winning the NBA Championship for multiple years over the last decades. Over the last five years, this is a team that has matured from being considered a fresh inclusion to an already impressive lineup of teams to the No. 1 seed in two consecutive seasons. When they reached their second NBA Finals in the last three years, it kind of felt that it was time for them to finally get some reward. Both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were the standout players the entire season. But Brown was acknowledged as the Finals MVP and he is back for more next season.
Jaylen Brown is hungrier for success than ever before
Brown has been in vacation for the better part of the last summer and enjoying his status as NBA champion. He wasn’t called for the Paris Olympic Games like his teammate Jayson Tatum was so he took the time to rest. Now that he is back training with his squad, Brown is starting with a new feeling and ready for more NBA titles this season. The best way to describe his mood is by looking at what he wrote on Instagram this Saturday. He said: “JB villain year loading. I want blood.”
That’s an ominous declaration to every other NBA rival out there, Jaylen Brown will be out for blood. We are already talking about potentially one of the most complete NBA players in the world right now. If he can improve even more than he has up to this moment, we could be in front of a potential generational talent. If he can manage himself next to the other star, the Boston Celtics have the chance to create a new dynasty that might not rival the one led by Bill Russell but they can still make a difference.
