Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert inexplicably criticized for missing game due to child’s birth by NBA All-Star

What was even more impressive about their defensive performance was that Rudy Gobert, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, missed the game due to the birth of his child. While almost no one batted an eye at Gobert missing the game, Gilbert Arenas seemed to take it personally.

On his own show, Arenas called out Gobert in a wild rant.

The premise of Arenas’ argument was that the baby won’t remember Gobert being there when he was born. He doesn’t seem to care about a father witnessing arguably the greatest moment of his personal life and sharing it with the mother.

Unsurprisingly, and rightfully so, Arenas was called out by just about every fan on social media.

This is not the first time that Arenas has delivered a controversial take, but this is what he does. It’s clear NBA fans have grown very tired of his shtick. At a certain point, his words will come back to haunt him.
