There might not be a more popular family in NFL circles than the Kelces. Even before Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother, former All-Pro center Jason Kelce, were dominating the airwaves with their “New Heights” podcast.

The immense success of the podcast put the Kelce family in the spotlight, which was only amplified when Swift came along. With the Kelces getting so much media attention, it brought their mother, Donna Kelce, to the spotlight. With every cameo she made, she gained millions of new fans, and people wanted more. But perhaps news media websites have gone a bit too far now.

Donna Kelce renovating her home is a TMZ “exclusive”

On Saturday, TMZ posted an exclusive story about Donna Kelce that polarized social media: She is renovating her home in Florida. Yes, that is apparently breaking news, which did not sit well with just about everyone. They couldn’t believe what they were seeing. And neither could her sons.

The New Heights social media account, which surely gets some input from the Kelce brothers, couldn’t help but laugh at the odd news story. They were stunned Donna’s home renovation was that big of a story that TMZ had to report on it.

To be fair to TMZ, there really isn’t much going on on the Kelce front as of late. Travis still hasn’t made a decision on whether he will play in 2026 or retire. Swift isn’t on tour, and the podcast is business as usual as of late. But this home renovation certainly wasn’t worth the time.
