Travis Kelce is considered one of the best tight ends to ever play in the NFL and alongside superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes they have made out of the Kansas City Chiefs one of the most electrifying dynasties in professional sports.
The Chiefs are the NFL’s last undefeated team in the 2024 season with a record of 6-0, which marks the third time under head coach Andy Reid that Kansas City is the last undefeated team (also 2013 and 2017).
With National Tight Ends Day just around the corner (this Sunday), the league posted a video that showcase some of the best plays from NFL legends such as Shannon Sharpe, Tony González, Antonio Gates, Jason Witten and Rob Gronkowski.
The video starts with some amazing highlights from Kelce making defenses look silly and unable to find a way to stop him as he runs across the field with a very impressive speed.
So far, Kelce has yet to score in the 2024-2025 season but he does racks up 245 receiving yards. He hopes to elevate his offensive production during the following weeks. He’s gonna have a chance to do so this Sunday when the Chiefs play against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium with a starting time of 3:25 PM ET.
The Kansas City Chiefs are favored to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy and become the NFL’s first three-peat.
With their bye week behind them, the Chiefs face a grueling 12-game stretch to end the season. First, Kansas City close out the month on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. The game will have a special flavor because of what happened in the offseason when a Raiders player mocked Mahomes for having a voice similar to Kermit the Frog.
Then they start November at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then they will face the Denver Broncos, so the Chiefs could tie the franchise’s best start to a season (9-0). The big test for the 10-0 would be in Buffalo against the Bills.
